About Tarun Arora
Tarun Arora is the Chairman of Council of Bhartiya School Education and Chairman of Yamuna Sanrakshan Parishad. Along with revolutionizing education and leading the Yamuna cleaning mission, his biggest ongoing battle is saving thousands of jhuggis on the Yamuna floodplains from demolition.
For years, he has been organizing mega free health camps, distributing free medicines, providing free education to poor children, and directly fighting the government to protect the only homes of laborers and their families.
Our Core Struggle – Save Jhuggi Movement
Under the leadership of Tarun Arora, the “Save Jhuggi – Save Home” movement is at full strength:
Fighting bulldozer action on thousands of poor families

Our slogan: “Where there is a Jhuggi, there must be a Makaan – It’s our right!”
